Recent writing credits include Hulu's “Ramy”, Netflix's “Mo” as well as stand up specials on Netflix and HBO. On screen, he plays Najaf on the “Ms. Marvel” series on Disney+.
He is known for provocative observations on politics, culture, and human behavior.
Before becoming a professional comedian, Azhar gained several years of business experience, both as a founder of an internet startup and a lawyer.
